SuperSport United FC is pleased to confirm the signature of TS Galaxy captain, Pogiso Sanoka on a two-year contract with an option to extend.

Sanoka joined TS Galaxy in the 2020/21 season from Maritzburg United and has played over 100 games in his four-year stay at the club.

The 32-year old central defender helped “The Rockets” to finish in a historic 5th position in the 2023/24 season having played all 30 matches i the campaign. He also played a crucial role in assisting the team to reach the Carling Cup Final, losing out to Stellenbosch.

SuperSport United CEO Stanley Matthews adds: “Pogiso brings experience and versatility to our back-line. He has had 2 great seasons at TS Galaxy where he was a key figure in their defensive unit. We are looking to him and our defensive recruits to insure that we improve our clean sheet and defensive record.”
