SuperSport United midfielder Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane emphasized that his teammates will rely heavily on home-ground advantage ahead of their crucial upcoming second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.

This prior to the team’s training session at the Sunninghill’s Megawatt Park on Wednesday morning.

The big match will take place at the Atteridgeville’s Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday night.  The match starts at 20:15.

“This is going to be a big match and we will rely on home ground advantage.  The win will be a big bonus to our supporters.  They keep us going and I strongly feel that our 12th player will make a huge impact come Saturday night,” said the Matsatsantsa industrious attacking midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane.

“Yeye”, as he is affectionately called by his teammates sat out the first leg on the road as he served a one-match suspension and his return is certainly a huge boost to the side.

“I missed the first match due to suspension but I’m happy with the overall performance of the team.  We conceded two goals and this is something we rectified and I’m hoping it’s not going to happen again come Saturday.  Conceding away was not good but at the same time we are hoping on the goal we scored,” Letsholonyane said.

A victory for Matsatsantsa will put them in the history books of football on the African continent right away.

“We want to make history.  This is not going to be an easy one but it is certainly attainable.  Our neighbours Mamelodi Sundowns won the CAF Champions League and there was jubilation nationwide.  Those memories are still there and will stay with us forever,” concluded Letsholonyane.
