10 SuperSport United first team players have been called up to represent their various national teams during the FIFA week programme.

Internationals Ghampani Lungu will be representing his nation (Zambia) as they will be participating in the national under23 setup.

Neighbouring state Zimbabwe will be represented by some of the Matsatsantsa players such as Evans Rusike and Kudakwashe Mahachi.

The South African Football Association (SAFA) has called up Kamohelo Mahlatsi, Sipho Mbule, Jamie Webber and Teboho Mokoena to participate in the junior squad.

The 25-man squad will face Zimbabwe in the third and final round of the 2019 Total U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.  South Africa and Zimbabwe face off in the first leg on Thursday, 5 September 2019 at Milpark Stadium in Johannesburg.

Kickoff is at 19h00.

The senior national team (Bafana Bafana) has named senior United players such as skipper Dean Furman, Bradley Grobler and Ronwen Williams.

Bafana will face Zambia in an international friendly clash on Saturday, 7 September 2019.

South Africa is using this match to prepare for the upcoming back-to-back 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ghana and Sudan to be played in November.
