Bafana Bafana have managed to obtain third place in the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations on the weekend.

This after South Africa beat the Democratic Republic of Congo 6-5 on penalties after a goalless draw in regulation time.

The third place playoff, where South Africa won Bronze medal, was played on Saturday night at the Felix Hophouet-Boigny in Abidjan.

Skipper and ex-SuperSport United goalkeeper Ronwen Williams won Best Goalkeeper of the tournament. Also, Bafana Bafana won FairPlay Team of the tournament.

Meanwhile Bafana will return back home this coming Wednesday.
