Bafana Bafana have lost their 2023 African Cup of Nations opening match against Mali (2-0) on Tuesday night.

The match was held at the Amadou Gon Koulibaly Stadium, Korhogo.

Although South Africa lost the game, they put up some great performances in the first half and were unlucky after missing a penalty in the first half.

Bafana will now focus on their next match against Namibia on Sunday night. The match kicks off at 21h00 at the same venue.

This is going to be a mouth-watering derby between the two Southern African nations.
