The match was held at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium Korhogo on Sunday night.
Percy Tau netted an opening goal from the spot-kick after AmaZulu player Riaan Hanamub was fouled for a handball in the early stages of the first half. Themba Zwane registered a brace while ex-SuperSport United forward Thapelo Maseko scored the fourth strike.
Meanwhile South Africa will play their last group stage match against Tunisia on Wednesday night. Kick-off is at 7pm.
