Matsatsantsa website conducted Q and A with Mfolozi who is also a member of the club’s first team under head coach Gavin Hunt.
How is the team spirit ahead of our next two final fixtures before the break?
The team spirit is very high. In our last six matches, we have been doing pretty well without a loss. We are looking forward to secure maximum points in these last two matches.
Describe your worst performance on the pitch and what did you learn from this experience?
Our two loses at the commencement of the current season. Our start was terrible. What we need to do is penetrate teams even if they park-the-bus, create goal scoring opportunities and be clinical in front of goals.
What have you learned about teamwork lately?
I have learnt that anything is possible as long as there is good spirit in our team. It was last season when we won 10 consecutive games and came second in the league, with only two points behind Stellenbosch FC.
Tell us about your most successful season in football?
As I said, when we came second last season (2021-2022) and won 10 matches in a row. The team spirit was super high at that point. We wanted to be first so badly. Well done to Stellenbosch FC though!
Its FIFA break, World Cup season, who is your favourite to win the precious prize?
England seems very strong, competitive too with a powerful squad. So I’m definitely going with them.
