Champions visit club headquarters

2019 MTN8 Cup champions SuperSport United visited club head quarters in Randburg two days after winning the lucrative competition.

Matsatsantsa, led by head coach and club legend Kaitano Tembo arrived at midday to meet up and mingle with employees.

Players, technical team and employees had a fun day although some of the prominent players were not part of the visit due senior national squad call-up.

Midfield sensation Sipho Mbule enjoyed himself with MultiChoice employees who had picture session with the team.

“It is a great feeling coming to club offices and meet employees and some of our fans.  We did some great job, and everybody is happy.

We will continue with the same fighting spirit and hoping to come here more often with some exciting news,” said the under23 international Free State born player.

Mbule had a good run in the MTN8 campaign and promised his fans that he will double the effort to help his team in the competitive Absa Premiership.

“We are having a good team that pulls together in the same direction.  We have set our goals and we are hoping to achieve them at the end of the season.  It is not an easy job, but we are prepared to work hard and get a positive result in the end,” Mbule concluded.

The team was given a break after a big victory on the weekend against Highlands Park and will resume with their training programme on Wednesday.

Meanwhile Matsatsantsa will play two fixtures after the MTN8 Cup final against Black Leopards FC at home and Bloemfontein Celtic FC on the road this month respectively.
