Two SuperSport United DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) players have made their first appearance for first team in a Tshwane derby.
The MTN8 Cup quarterfinal match was held at the Tuks Stadium in Tshwane.
The young players are Neo Rapoo and Yandisa Mfolozi.
Mfolozi came off the bench for Thalente Mbatha in the 61st minute while Rapoo replaced Onismor Bhasera in the 79th minute.
This was not a positive start for the pair following a 2-0 loss perennial rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.
The youngsters played a significant role last season when the Super boys finished second in the DDC league.
Meanwhile United will focus on their next DStv Premiership match, another Tshwane derby at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
The match starts at 7:30pm.
