The inaugural DStv Compact Cup will see Inland 1 and 2 and Coastal 1 and 2 participate against each other this year.

Voting by the fans closed on the 3^rd of January and the squad announcement took place on the 5^th of January.

The participating teams are Dinaledi FC (Inland 1) Warriors FC (Inland 2) Amabutho (Coastal 1) and Coastal United FC (Coastal 2).
