Members of the football fraternity, family members and friends paid their last respects to the late George Chigova at a memorial service last night.

Members of the football fraternity, family members and friends paid their last respects to the late George Chigova at a memorial service last night.
The service was held at the AFM Church in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni.
The attendance at the Church was evident that the late goal-minder Chigova was much loved by a large amount of people.
Football personalities and club bosses and administrators who attended the service are SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews, Andre Arendse, Ian Gorowa who is now a pastor and Chigova’s home boys such as Khama Billiat, Tendai Ndoro, former Zimbabwean left-back Innocent Chikoya and goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini.
“Big George” will be repatriated on Wednesday where he will be laid to rest at his hometown in Chivhu, Zimbabwe.
