The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has announced the list of nominees for the 2021/22 end of season Awards ceremony.

The virtual awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, 29 May 2022 at 19h00 and will be live on the SuperSport PSL channel (202) and SABC.

SuperSport United defender Luke Fleurs, together with the pair of Athenkosi Mcaba of Stellenbosch FC and Orlando Pirates’ Kwame Peprah are vying for the DStv Premiership Young Player of the Season Award.

Fleurs put a good shift in for Matsatsantsa’ s back-four this season, and his participation in the international competitions did not go unnoticed.

“This is my first nomination and it is really a good feeling.  I feel privileged to be at this year‘s Premier Soccer League (PSL) awards,” said the Matsatsantsa young defender.

Meanwhile Matsatsantsa will play their last match of the season when they welcome the 2022 CAF Confederation Cup finalists Orlando Pirates at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday June 01.
