The SuperSport development academy had a busy weekend, they participated in the GDL tournament against NWU university. The first game kicked off at 9am, and all the games were streamed live on the SuperSport school Channel or App.

The SSU U13 team kicked off their first game against NWU at 9:00. The team played exceptionally well, winning with a final score of 8-0. Tshepang scored two goals, while Thabang Qina contributed 3 goals. Rorisang also impressed with 2 goals, and the final goal was scored by Rorisang as well.

The U15 team from SSU emerged victorious in their second game against NWU, with a final score of 3-0. Kwazi Dlamini was the first to score a goal, followed by Uthando Gould. The last goal of the game was scored by Katlego Makhubuki, securing the win for SSU.

Article: SSU u17 continued their winning streak as they played their third game of the day, defeating NWU with a final score of 2-0. Lunje Noqobo was the first to score, followed by Tshireletso Phantlane who sealed the game with the last goal. Unfortunately for NWU, this was their third consecutive defeat from SSU.

U19 played the last game against NWU which resulted in a scoreless draw.
