SuperSport United Development Academy went head-to-head with Panorama FC over the weekend in a series of exciting matches held at Panorama Sports Ground. The day kicked off early, with the first game starting at 8:30 am.
The U13 team opened the day with a strong performance, securing a 3-0 victory. Tokello scored the first goal, assisted by Tshepo Setou. Kenzo Rana added the second, with an assist from Kgantse, while Lesego Senamela sealed the win with the third goal, set up by Luyolo Ripa.
Next up, the U14 team continued the winning momentum with a 3-2 triumph. Onkarabile Tiro opened the scoring, assisted by Russel Tiamu. Ekwoge Tembi netted the second goal from a pass by Mpho Pitsa, who also assisted Sphamandla Phakathi for the team’s decisive third goal.
The U15 side fought hard but suffered a 2-1 defeat. Liam Frost scored the team’s only goal, with Thabang Qina providing the assist.
In the U17 match, SuperSport battled to a 1-1 draw against Panorama. Denver Ochieng found the back of the net, assisted by Will Henson.
The day concluded with the U19 match, which ended in a goalless 0-0 draw, wrapping up a competitive weekend of youth football.
