The SuperSport United Development academy recently had a successful participation in the GDL on Sunday, where they played against RESA at Curro Sagewood Avenue. To make the event even more exciting, all the games were live streamed on the SuperSport school’s channel.
The match between SuperSport United u13 and RESA was the first game of the day. SuperSport United u13 emerged victorious with a scoreline of 3-1. The first goal was scored by Katlego Makhubuki, assisted by Mpho Pitsa, while the second goal was scored by Thabang Qina, assisted by Rorisang Taukobong. The final goal was scored by Sphamandla Phakathi, with another assist from Mpho Pitsa.
The second game, played between SuperSport United u15 and RESA, ended in a close victory for SuperSport United with a score of 1-0. The winning goal was scored by Thiery Mashoko, with an assist from Rocco Rodriques.
The match between SuperSport United U17 and RESA ended in a draw of 2-2. Boitshoko Moshe scored the first goal for SuperSport United U17, while the second goal was scored by Will Henson, assisted by Gift Mahlangu. Despite their efforts, the team was unable to secure a win and had to settle for a tie.
