The SuperSport United development academy recently took part in the GDL tournament at Naturena Kaizer Chiefs Village, where they faced off against Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday.

The SuperSport United development academy recently took part in the GDL tournament at Naturena Kaizer Chiefs Village, where they faced off against Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday. Fans were able to watch all the games through live streaming on the SuperSport Schools Channel, as well as on channel 216 for those who prefer traditional broadcasting.

The U13 team of SuperSport United faced off against Kaizer Chiefs in their first game of the day. The match ended in a 3-3 draw, with Tshepang Digoamanje scoring the first goal of the game in the first half, assisted by Tumelo. In the second half, Sphamandla scored the second goal with an assist from Tumelo Moerane, and the third goal was scored by Tshepang, this time assisted by Thabang Pitsa. Despite their strong performance, the game ended in a draw, highlighting the evenly matched skills of both teams.

SuperSport United u15 played their second match against Kaizer Chiefs, which once again ended in a 1-1 draw. The goal for SuperSport United was scored by David, with an assist from Braythe Moffit.

SuperSport United u17 played the third game of the day who had high hopes for the match. They were unable to secure the win against their opponents. Tswelelo's goal, with an assist from Lizwi, was the only shining moment for the team. The final score of 2-1 was not what they had hoped for, but they will continue to work hard and improve in future games.

 SuperSport United u19 were unable to secure a win in their last match of the day. The game was highly competitive and saw a total of 6 goals being scored, with Matsatsantsa losing with a final score of 2-4. Christiano Serra scored the first goal for the team, with an assist from Siyabonga Mavuso, and the second goal was netted by Koketso with an assist from Tyrese. Despite the loss, the team showed determination and teamwork throughout the game.
