SuperSport United forward Bradley Grobler lifted the spirits of his teammates when he netted a winner against Stellenbosch in their midweek fixture.

Matsatsantsa won 1-0 and moved from position six on the DStv Premiership log table to third spot.

The match was held at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch, Cape Town.

The win boosted the team’s confidence going into the Tshwane derby after dropping a lot of points in the last few matches they played at home and on the road recently.

Grobler, who won the top-goal-scorer-award last season, rejoined the team after recuperating from the injury he picked up recently.

His return is a big boost to the side and his formidable partnership with fellow centre-forward Thami Gabuza will definitely get resuscitated.

Matsatsantsa are currently on position three on the DStv Premiership log table and a win for them will see them moving to number two.

In their last meeting, the two Tshwane rivals played to a 2-all draw at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
