SuperSport United forward Bradley Grobler made history when he broke the record as the club's all time top-goal-scorer recently.

The record-holder was the late United striker Abram Raselemane (may his soul rest in peace) who was on 57 goals.

Grobler equaled his record and surpassed it when they beat Bloemfontein 2-1:at home on Wednesday night to get his tally to 58 this week.

Grobler, the son of the legendary Les Grobler who was a good free-kick taker, helped Matsatsantsa to finish the league in the top eight bracket and win Cup competitions.

Another Matsatsantsa forward, Jeremy Brockie, who played with Grobler a few seasons ago, registered 54 strikes before he left the Tshwane-based-outfit.

Meanwhile Grobler is currently leading the DStv top-scoriers-chart with 10 strikes, followed by Mamelodi Sundowns' Themba Zwane who netted eight goals and Ruzaigh Gamaldien and Mduduzi Mdantsane of Cape Town City who are both on seven goals.
