SuperSport United Football Club skipper Ronwen Williams shared moments with some of his former academy teammates at the Bafana Bafana camp recently.

Bafana played two AFCON qualifier matches against Sao Tome and Principe in Johannesburg and Durban respectively.

Former SuperSport United academy graduates included Kamohelo Mokotjo, Kermit Erasmus, Lyle Lakay and Teboho Mokoena.

Some of these academy products have been groomed by Coach Kwanele Kopo and Coach Godfrey Mosoetsa.  The former is currently an assistant to the Bafana head coach Molefi Ntseki

“It’s the best feeling, seeing how far we have come. We all sacrificed so much leaving home at such a young age to follow our dreams.

We all have a very good relationship and keep in regular contact. It’s also so inspiring to see our youth coach getting recognition (Kwanele Kopo), he deserves it,” said the Matsatsantsa captain Williams.
