Marumo Gallants came out with intensity and purpose, dominating the first half with a commanding performance. They found the back of the net three times before the break, putting SuperSport under immense pressure and heading into halftime with a 3-0 lead.
In the second half, SuperSport United showed signs of life and managed to pull two goals back. Siviwe Magidigidi opened the scoring for Matsatsantsa in the 57th minute, followed by a strike from Khonyane Keabetswe in the 69th minute, briefly offering hope of a comeback.
However, Marumo Gallants responded emphatically, netting three more goals to seal a dominant 6-2 victory.
