Shamir Mattera opened the scoring in the 13th minute, finishing off a well-timed assist from Siviwe Magidigidi to give SuperSport an early lead. Despite both sides creating chances, the first half ended with SuperSport holding a 1-0 advantage.
The second half saw both teams battling hard, but neither could find the back of the net as SuperSport defended their lead until the final whistle.
