The match got off to an energetic start, with Matsatsantsa showing early dominance and applying pressure on Marumo Gallants. Their efforts were rewarded just before the halftime whistle, when striker Bradley Grobler found the back of the net, giving SuperSport United a 1-0 lead at the break.
In the second half, SuperSport continued to push forward in search of a second goal while trying to maintain control of the game. However, Marumo Gallants responded strongly and managed to find the equaliser in the 60th minute, swinging the momentum back in their favour.
Despite a determined effort from SuperSport United to reclaim the lead, the match ended in a 1-1 draw. It’s a disappointing result for Matsatsantsa, who are in desperate need of maximum points.
