SuperSport United FC and TS Galaxy played out an action-packed 3-3 draw in a DStv Diski Challenge showdown on Saturday afternoon at Lucas Moripe Stadium. The match, which kicked off at 12:00 pm, was a thrilling affair filled with intensity, goals, and dramatic moments from start to finish.

TS Galaxy came out firing in the opening stages, showing attacking intent and finding the back of the net early on to take a 1-0 lead. Despite efforts from SuperSport to respond, the visitors held firm, going into the halftime break with their narrow advantage intact.

The second half saw a much-improved performance from SuperSport United, who wasted no time in getting back into the game. In the 51st minute, Mandlenkosi Nkosi levelled the score with a well-taken goal, assisted by Koketso Mathidza. However, TS Galaxy quickly regained their lead just two minutes later, making it 2-1.

Refusing to back down, SuperSport responded again. Manelisi Mazibuko found the equaliser in the 59th minute with a fine finish, following a assist from Mattera. The hosts then took the lead for the first time in the match when Makhubo scored SuperSport’s third goal, connecting beautifully with a pass from Zach Taitz.

Just as SuperSport looked to have sealed the win, TS Galaxy struck late in the final five minutes to make it 3-3 and ensure the points were shared.
