SuperSport United will take a trip to Soweto to honour their crucial DStv Premiership fixture against Swallows FC this weekend.

The match will be played at the Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Kickoff is at 3pm.

Matsatsantsa are going into this encounter following their goalless draw with AmaZulu FC in their midweek meeting in the KwaZulu-Natal province.

Although United shared a point apiece with the hosts, they moved to position two on the table below their perennial rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

Matsatsantsa are hard at work preparing for the next meeting and are not looking for anything less than three points.

“Swallows are a good team who have added quite a few new faces to their squad. But we know what to expect from them and will prepare ourselves as best as we can, regardless of who or how they play,” said the United midfielder Jesse Donn.

According to the Matsatsantsa prospect, this is not going to be an easy one as the home side has a lot of experienced players and some of the quality members who joined this season.

“Swallows have tons of good players, but we cannot focus on them. We respect them as a team, but on the pitch it’s war. Our approach is the same as always, going for the three points,” he concluded.

Matsatsantsa will rely on players such as Thamsanqa Gabuza, Teboho Mokoena, Donn and Bradley Grobler.

In last season’s two league meetings, both sides finished 1-1.
