Matsatsantsa happy at new venue TUT Stadium as they welcome Stellenbosch FC

SuperSport United are scheduled to play their next DStv Premiership match against Stellenbosch FC at the TUT Stadium tonight.

The match starts at 7:30pm.

Matsatsantsa are a happy side since they have returned to the place, they used to call home 15 years ago.

TUT was United’s training facility under the leadership of head coach Gavin Hunt in his first stint with Matsatsantsa.

Hunt won three consecutive league titles and participated in league Cup finals during that period where he made history before leaving to coach other sides in the elite league.

The master tactician returned to United this season and is now fondly back to the venue he used to call home.

Due to the unavailability of Lucas Moripe Stadium, United have switched to TUT Stadium and have confirmed to play three league fixtures where they have already won two in a row last month.

Tonight, United host Stellenbosch, and this is a match they cannot afford to lose as they are eyeing to finish second in the league.

A victory for Matsatsantsa will see them collecting nine points out of three league matches at their temporary home turf.

The match will be televised live on SuperSport’s PSL channel 202.
