SuperSport United Football Club resumed their usual weekly training programme in the New Year on a positive note.

They have also invited trialists to look at them as part of their backup plan as far as their personnel is concerned.

Some of the trialists included local house hold names and a few international players who did not convince the technical team during their stay.

Also, coach Gavin Hunt and his team organized a few practice matches this week against two National First Division (NFD) outfits – Marumo Gallants FC and La Masia FC that is guided by ex-United winger Daine Klate. Klate had a successful working relationship Hunt during his stay at United after winning three consecutive league titles.

Meanwhile Matsatsantsa, who have also invited some of the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) boys, will have another friendly match this coming weekend.
