SuperSport United are delighted to announce the signatures of goalkeeper Putco Khoza (20) and Kegan Johannes (20) on two-year-contracts with options to extend.

Khoza played for ABC Motsepe League outfit Thaba Tshwane FC and is a product of former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Shuaib Walters ‘Goalkeeping Academy.

Johannes previously played for Ajax Cape Town/Cape Town Spurs, joining the Western Cape based side at the young age of nine and played just under 100 games. He also played in a significant role in helping the national Under23 team to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games in the 2019 AFCON games, but unfortunately missing the tournament due to an injury and will look to add to his five caps while playing for Matsatsantsa.

SuperSport United CEO Stanley Matthews, “Putco is an impressive young goalkeeper who has caught the eye of our goalkeeping coach Grant Johnson and has impressed both coach Andre Arendse and head coach Kaitano Tembo while training with us.

Training with Ronwen Williams, George Chigovi and Boalefa Pule can only make him a great prospect for the future.” Matthews continues “Kegan is the ideal type of player we as SuperSport United love. He can play in three positions, he is young, ambitious and very talented. Alongside the likes of Luke Fleurs, Keenan Philllips and Jesse Donn, we feel Kegan Johannes will become a household name in South African football and play a big part in the future of our Club.”
