The iconic Orlando Stadium, that sits at the heart of South Africa’s most famous township, Soweto, will host the 2019/20 MTN8 final.

The #MTN8 Final will be played on Saturday, 5 October. Kick-off is at 6pm CAT (SA, GMT+2)

This will be the first domestic cup final to be hosted at the Orlando Stadium in five years.

Highlands Park, who are making their first ever appearance in the #MTN8Final, will play SuperSport United – a side that has tasted MTN8 glory before. SuperSport United are appearing in the #MTN8Final for a record breaking third successive season.

The Owen Da Gama-led Highlands Park booked the passage after overcoming Orlando Pirates and Polokwane City in the quarterfinals and semi-finals respectively.

SuperSport United progressed to the final after defeating cross-town rivals Mamelodi Sundowns in a two-legged semi-final. Matsatsantsa a Pitori had gone past Bidvest Wits at the quarterfinal stage earlier in the season.

Tickets for the MTN8 final will be sold at TicketPro outlets and Sasol garages throughout the country. The PSL will communicate tickets availability in due course.
