How is Cape Town and how do you guys cope with lockdown?

Cape has been hit hard by the pandemic and it is actually going to get worse.

Are the people on that end adhere to the lockdown rules?

Most people are adhering to the regulations, but I feel that the spread of the virus is inevitable.

Western Cape seems to be on top of the list with a higher number?

Yes, the Western Cape is the epicentre of the pandemic at the moment.

What is your take on the COVID19 and what advice would you give to fellow South Africans?

Covid19 is a very dangerous enemy that we all should fight and beat and I am optimistic that we will beat it together.

What do you do during this lockdown? Are you an essential worker? What are you busy with since we have moved from level5 to level4?

We all need to adhere to the regulations and take responsibility of our actions. Well, observing the social distancing, stayed home as much as possible. I’m currently at work, however I’m being responsible, observing the social distancing at all times. I’m back at work and I missed being at work.

How much do you miss live football?

I miss it a lot, I’ve been watching old matches every weekend for the past five weeks.

How do you and other Matsatsantsa supporters keep in touch or keep your conversation going?

We keep in contact via WhatsApp and watch all the latest news in sports.

What do you talk about mostly?

The only thing on everyone’s lips now, is how we can overcome the covid19 and the stigma of it.

What is your message to the football community regarding the COVID19 that has gripped the whole world?

Everyone should remain calm and support each other at this difficult time in our lives and not make any hasty decisions.
