SuperSport United Football Club website had an opportunity to talk one of the Matsatsantsa supporters’ coordinators in the Mpumalanga province Tosh Mathebula regarding the COVID19 and how much they miss live football.

How is Schooemanskloof (this area is in Mbombela) and how do you guys cope with lockdown?

Schoemanskloof has been so good so far though we are not used to stay indoors.

What is your take on the COVID19 and what advice would you give to fellow South Africans?

My advice to my fellow South Africans is to be patient with the rules that are set by our Government.

What do you do during this lockdown? Are you an essential worker? What are you busy with since we have moved from level4 to level3?

I am currently working at a nuts factory in Schoemanskloof in the Mpumalanga province.

How much do you miss live football?

I miss football so much, the cheering in the stands, the vibe and most of all the Matsatsantsa supporters.  We are one big family.

How do you and other Matsatsantsa supporters keep in touch or keep your conversation going?

We usually talking throughout WhatsApp and of course calling each other to encourage each other to keep safe.

What do you talk about mostly?

We talk about soccer and how we miss football.

What is your message to the football community regarding the COVID19 that has gripped the whole world?

I just want to say we need to be strong wash our hands and also stay at home we will get through this.
