The 2020 Tokyo Olympics was a different level of competition and we learnt so much and shared our experiences with the team.

Our first match of the season last weekend was good looking at the overall performance, one we can build from, take lots of positives and build from it.

We really need to concede less goals if we want to achieve our goals, last season our front players have played their part by scoring many goals but us at the back let the team down by conceding too many goals.

We have scored two wonderful goals and created many opportunities so we need to keep working on that to perfect it.

We have been doing that week in week out, scoring and creating many scoring opportunities, we have got the quality in the midfield to produce those moments.

The introduction of Iqraam Rayners and Gamphani Lungu changed the game for us, they gave us width and penetration. It was wonderful that they both scored, it will definitely boost their confidence going forward.

Regarding our league opener, we are positive, excited to start our campaign and we know what Cape Town City are about but this season we need to focus more on what we can do.

It is never easy playing City in Cape Town, they believe in the way that they play and it has brought them success but I prefer to talk less about them and focus more on what we can do.

Our new kit is different to the previous ones and the boys like it, the colours stand out and it has a sleek look and feel.

Good news in the team is the unveiling of our new player Buhle Mkhwanazi, he will be massive for us, we need that leadership at the back, and we could see we missed it last season, so I would say we needed a man of his calibre in our wonderful group.
