Ronwen Online – we must make our home matches count

I had a niggle for some time and had to get it sorted, I’m all good now and the recovering is going well.

Boalefa Pule replaced me and whenever he gets a chance, he does an amazing job, he is a reliable and quality goalkeeper, I’m so happy he got a clean sheet in the last two matches as well.

This is the latter stage of the league and everyone is either fighting for survival or pushing for a top eight finish, so every point one collects should be grateful.

We should make our home games count in these remaining three games, it’s going to be vital to get maximum points at home and cement our top eight spot.

We know our next opponents Swallows FC are not in a good space, but we know football can change things quickly, so we need to be professional and make sure we consolidate our top eight spot with a home win.

On a positive note, we are happy to see our Matsatsantsa fans back in the stands and cheering us on, keep motivating and cheering for us, we really need them to give us that extra push to finish the league in a respectable position.

On the DStv Premiership title, from all the players at SuperSport United family we would like to congratulate our neighbours Mamelodi Sundowns on winning the league, they haven’t dropped their standards throughout the season, and we can learn from them.

And most of all, we are proud of the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team’s turnaround, they have done extremely well to get in this position (currently on position two), they need to stay focused and be ready if leaders Stellenbosch FC drop points.

Dlala Matsatsantsa!
