Ronwen Online - we need to finish the year on a positive note

We still have a few players recovering, and some players doing their rehabilitation, it’s been a tough few weeks but we will soldier on.

Obviously it wasn’t easy without prominent players in the last few matches but we believe in all our players and I feel the players who came in have done very well.

The DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) graduates have been training with us for a long time now so they are not new to the team, at SuperSport we are not afraid to throw in youngsters, the club’s future is definitely bright.

I’m so proud of our goalkeeper Boalefa Pule, he is such a positive person, never sulks always gives his all at training and I’m glad he kept a clean-sheet in our previous match.

Another player is Kegan Johannes, he has been doing very well, and people forget that he is only 20-years-old, he has the right attributes to have a wonderful career.

We are glad Tebza (Teboho Mokoena) is back and got some minutes in our last match, he has been key for us this season and we missed him when he was out.

It’s going to be tough against Cape Town City, they are such a good side who play attacking football, but we are at home and we need to finish the year on a positive note and climb up the table.

We miss our Matsatsantsa supporters so much, so hopefully a win can make them happy and we wish them a lovely festive season.

Please be safe out there, have a lovely time with your loved ones but don’t forget we still in a pandemic, be safe and we shall see you all in 2022.

We had a wonderful 2021, we are obviously disappointed because we haven’t won any silverware but we should be proud of our efforts, we are building for the future and it looks good and promising.
