It was a disappointing result losing our first league match of the season to Golden Arrows, but we don’t have time to feel sorry for ourselves, we took out some of the positives and we have moved forward.

The Cup match against Bloemfontein Celtic was a fair result, I feel we both had opportunities to win the game but we will settle for a draw and go and fight to be in the final.
At SuperSport United every game is a Cup final, we want to win each and every game, we don’t pick and choose or prioritize other games, and we take every match seriously.
We need to collect maximum points at home, and get more points on the board, the team is getting stronger, and some of our players have recovered from injuries and suspensions, so we are feeling good.
We are playing Stellenbosch FC in our midweek fixture, they are a very strong and hard running side, but we focus on what we can do, our game plan and strength.
We need all our players, and having a few of them back added experience and more quality in our team.
Some of the players who are out injured are not far off, some have started training.
To Thabo September, Happy Birthday (yesterday) my skipper, you are such a wonderful guy with a pure heart, you helped me so much throughout my career. I wish him all his heart desires.
On a very serious note, let’s continue following protocol, let’s not drop the ball now, we miss all our supporters at the Stadium, so please continue doing the right things so we can see you guys back at the stadiums.
Ronwen Williams, SuperSport United Football Club Captain
