SuperSport United take on AmaZulu in a crucial DStv Premiership encounter in Durban on Tuesday evening.
The match is scheduled for Jonsson Kings Park Stadium and kickoff is at 5pm.
Matsatsantsa are going into this match following two consecutive league draws against Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates respectively.
Although Matsatsantsa bagged two points out of the two matches, it was not good enough to narrow the gap opened by crosstown rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.
On the other hand, the home side lost to Black Leopards in the Nedbank Cup Last 16 stage on the weekend but have won their last league match.
They are currently lying on the fifth spot with 25 points and have played 17 matches.
United are on position two having played 18 games, they have registered nine wins with six draws, three losses and have bagged 33 points.
This is going to be a interesting meeting between the two sides with the home team under the new coach Benni McCarthy.
“AmaZulu have always been a very solid side, however, we don’t focus on what or who they got, but what we need to do to collect maximum points at the end of the day,” said the United skipper Ronwen Williams.
Big boost for visitors is the return of veteran defender Onismor Bhasera, striker Guily Manziba and midfielder Teboho Mokoena. The trio put some great performances in their last league match.
“It is really wonderful to have a nearly full strength team, Mokoena and Manziba gave us the quality that we’ve been lacking recently,” concluded the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.
Matsatsantsa will also rely on players such as Grobler, sensational midfielder Sipho Mbule, Lucky Mohomi and Ghampani Lungu.
In their last meeting, the two meetings played to a 1-all draw last month, courtesy of forward Bradley Grobler.
The match will be televised live on SuperSport Variety 3.
