The match was held at the Princess Magogo Stadium in the KwaZulu-Natal province on Saturday.
Forward Sibusiso Maziko opened the scoring account with a beautiful header from a pin-point cross on the left in the 21st minute.
The score was 1-0 to United.
SuperSport kept on dictating matters with numerous scoring opportunities as Maziko completed his brace in the 36TH minute after a follow up from Thapelo Maseko’s blocked shot in the box.
The score was 2-0 to the visiting side as the match went into halftime.
In the 49th minute tremendous pressure forced Arrows’ Lwazi Zulu to concede a handball from Selaelo Rasebotja’s header who received a superb delivery from Gape Moralo on the left.
Maziko stood up to take the spot-kick but his kick was brilliantly saved by Arrows’ keeper and Tendamudzimu Matodzi followed up to make the score 3-0.
In the 73rd minute Thapelo Maseko finally put his name on the scoresheet after missing a lot of chances in the first half after a brilliant assist from Moralo.
United’s fourth strike celebration was short-lived as Arrows’ Mzolo cleverly netted a consolation goal for the home side.
The final score was 4-1 as second placed United kept on putting tremendous pressure to leaders Stellenbosch FC.
Meanwhile young forward Maziko deservedly won the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) Man of the Match award.
