Two SuperSport United Football Club players formed part of the final Bafana Bafana squad members for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier matches.

The selected players are United and Bafana skipper Ronwen Williams and midfielder Teboho Mokoena.

Prospects Luke Fleurs and Jesse Donn were in the provisional squad but did not form part of the final list.  However, their call up brought positive news to both players and the club as their performance did not go unnoticed.

Bafana will take on Ethiopia on the road (Saturday October 9) and the return leg is scheduled for Tuesday October 12 at the 2010 FIFA World Cup final venue FNB Stadium.

Bafana are in Group G with African nations such as the West African country Ghana, Ethiopia and neighbouring state Zimbabwe and are leading the group with four points.

Meanwhile other international players who will be on national duty are Kuda Mahachi, Onismor Bhasera and Moses Waiswa.
