SuperSport United have put the midweek loss against AmaZulu FC in the back of their minds and are looking forward to the next crucial home meeting on Friday night.
This after a 1-0 to AmaZulu on the road and where denied equalizing opportunity by the referee in the 90+ minute when Samkelo Mgwazela had contact with the ball to his wrist.
This Friday, the Tshwane-based-outfit welcome the Mpumalanga based side TS Galaxy in the DStv Premiership encounter.
The match is scheduled for Lucas “Masterpieces” Moripe Stadium in the Atteridgeville Township, in Tshwane.
The match starts at 5pm.
This is another opportunity for coach Kaitano Tembo’s boys to be on par with rivals Mamelodi Sundowns FC with points. They are at the summit of the DStv Premiership log table with 36 points and have three games in hand.
United are on position two below Sundowns having played 19 matches so far and have bagged 33 points.
“TS Galaxy FC have some quality players in their team, but it’s our home game and we need to stamp our authority and continue our undefeated home streak,” said the Matsatsantsa skipper and goalkeeper Ronwen Williams.
A win for Matsatsantsa will see them remaining on the second spot below leaders Sundowns by virtue of goal difference. Sundowns have a big margin of 10 goals.
The match will be televised live on SuperSport channel 202 (PSL).
