SuperSport United international players participated in the 2022 AFCON qualifiers this week for their respective nations.

The qualifier matches were played on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

Moses Waiswa’s Uganda played to a goalless draw against Burkina Faso on Wednesday at the St Mary’s Stadium.

On Thursday, Ghampani Lungu’s Zambia drew 3-3 with Algeria at the National Heroes Stadium, while Zimbabwe, who called up veteran Onismor Bhasera, Kuda Mahachi and Evans Rusike beat Thatayaone Ditlhokwe’s Botswana 1-0 at the Francistown Stadium.

And finally back home skipper Ronwen Williams’s Bafana Bafana shared the spoils with the Republic of Ghana.  The match was held at the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final venue FNB Stadium.
