Four SuperSport United Football Club players formed part of the 2021 Summer Tokyo Olympics squad that will be held in Tokyo, Japan later this year.

Four SuperSport United Football Club players formed part of the 2021 Summer Tokyo Olympics squad that will be held in Tokyo, Japan later this year.

The announcement took place on Thursday afternoon.

The Matsatsantsa quartet included Sipho Mbule, Teboho Mokoena, Luke Fleurs and skipper Ronwen Williams.

Williams is part of the seven senior players who are over 23 including one overseas based player – Percy Tau of Brighton and Hove Albion in England.

Mokoena and Fleurs were in the initial squad that recently completed another successful camp in eThekwini last month while Mbule and Williams were with the senior national team.

The final squad of 22 players will be announced at a later stage.
