SuperSport United Reserve side beat AmaZulu 4-3 in an exciting MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) match, with a seven-goal thriller at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban yesterday.

SuperSport United Reserve side beat AmaZulu 4-3 in an exciting MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) match, with a seven-goal thriller at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban yesterday.

The home side opened the scoring account seven minutes into the first half and increased the lead in the 43rd minute.

The halftime score was 2-0.

Matsatsantsa regrouped in the second half and netted two goals within six minutes (54th and 59th) to make the score 2-2.

AmaZulu came back in the 72nd minute to make the score 4-3 but their celebration was short-lived as United levelled matters six minutes later. The score was 3-3.

The Tshwane based outfit put a remarkable comeback as they scored their winning goal in the 82nd minute.

The final score was 4-3 to SuperSport who moved to the top five on the MDC log table.

Meanwhile SuperSport will play their next MDC match at home on Saturday afternoon at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).
