The Schools League was launched on Monday afternoon at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville in Tshwane.
The much awaited summer competition was conducted jointly with long time partners Phelindaba Local Football Association (PLFA).
The launch was graced by SuperSport United marketing team led by Coltrane Munyai, schools representatives, PLFA members and leaners.
Also, Matsatsantsa players from the senior team and DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team members formed part of the launch and handed new jerseys and training equipment to participating schools.

Fusion Secondary School are the new affiliates from Lotus Gardens, another Township in the north-east of the city of Tshwane.
The ladies category is divided is into two groups of three schools each.

The opening matches will be played this coming Wednesday at the Mbolekwa Sports Complex. Kickoff is at 14:30.
