It is with great sadness to announce the passing of South African soccer fan Mxolisi Thusi this afternoon.

Mxolisi, was known and loved by soccer fans nationwide including the South African Football Association (SAFA).

Thusi spent a lot of seasons with Matsatsantsa during coach Pitso Mosimane’s era (currently with Al Ahly Saudi FC in Saudi Arabia) where they participated in a lot of Cup finals such as the ABSA Cup, Coca-Cola Cup and SAA Supa8 to mention a few.

The entire Matsatsantsa family would like to send their deepest condolences to the Thusi family and friends.
