SuperSport United are back in Polokwane as they kick off new 2023-2024 season at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium this weekend.

Matsatsantsa welcome Richards Bay FC in their first match of the new season on Saturday afternoon.

Kickoff is at 15h00.

Although United released some of their regular squad members, they were busy in the market during off-season to consolidate the side ahead of the new season as they will also be participating in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) competitions.

The Tshwane-based-outfit have signed quality players such as Siyanda Xulu, Ronald Pfumbidzai, Washington Arubi, Godspower Ighodaro, Abdulrazack Hamza, Terrence Dzvukamanja and have also promoted few prospects from their development academy.

This is going to be a thrilling encounter for Matsatsantsa players who can’t wait to see their new signings donning their traditional royal blue strip for the first time.

Interestingly, Polokwane used to be Matsatsantsa’s happy-hunting-ground during head coach Gavin Hunt’s previous spell with the team as he recorded three consecutive league titles.

Meanwhile tickets for this match are available at Computicket outlets and they are sold at R40 for adults at Open stands and R20 for Children under 12 years.
