SSU take a trip to Tembisa

SuperSport United will take a trip to Tembisa, in Ekurhuleni, for their crucial Absa Premiership encounter against Highlands Park.

The match is scheduled for Makhulong Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Kick-off is at 15:30.

Matsatsantsa must expect hostile reception as the home side is looking to settle the score after losing to United twice in the MTN8 Cup final and league’s first round respectively.

United are going into this encounter highly motivated after securing maximum points against Bidvest Wits at home on the weekend.

On the other hand, Park came back with a point from the KwaZulu-Natal province after playing to a 1-all draw against Golden Arrows last Friday.

This is going to be a tough one to both sides, United are looking to cement a place in the top three bracket whereas Highlands are eyeing to end the league in the top eight.

Matsatsantsa are still on position four on the table having played 23 matches with 10 wins, seven draws, six losses and have bagged 37 points.

United will rely on players such as Clayton Daniels, Ronwen Williams, Aubrey Modiba, Sipho Mbule, Teboho Mokoena and Bradly Grobler.

In their last meeting, United beat Highlands Park 2-0 at home, courtesy of Thabo Mnyamane and Grobler respectively.
