SuperSport United Football Club return for the DStv Premiership after the FIFA international break.
Matsatsantsa take on AmaZulu in the DStv Premiership midweek encounter in Durban.
The match is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at the Jonsson Kings Park Stadium.
Kickoff is at 5pm.
Matsatsantsa dropped from position one to position four due to the matches that were played on the weekend.
“We have started very well in our league campaign, we need to keep that momentum going, and the boys have worked hard during the international break and can’t wait to get back to playing,” said the United captain Ronwen Williams.
The home side did not start the season on a positive note after losing to leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in their DStv Premiership opening match and drew 0-0 with Swallows FC in their second game.
“It won’t be easy as they haven’t had a good start so they will be looking to get points off us, but our focus is on us and the good start we had, we want to keep that going,” said the Bafana Bafana captain Williams.
Williams further emphasized that the FIFA World Cup qualifier matches where some of his international teammates participated, will help them in the league going forward.
“It is wonderful having so many players representing their respective national teams, we need to use the experience gained and help our team maintain our good start,” he said.
A convincing victory for coach Kaitano Tembo’s boys will see them unseating perennial rivals Sundowns.
Matsatsantsa will rely on players such as Onismor Bhasera, Sipho Mbule, Teboho Mokoena and forwards Iqraam Rainers and Thamsanqa Gabuza
