Three SuperSport United players formed part of the Bafana Bafana squad that has been selected to participate in the international AFCON qualifier matches against Sao Tome.
This after Bafana head coach Molefi Ntseki named his 25-man squad to play Sao Tome in back-to-back Cameroon 2022 AFCON qualifiers.
The first match will be played in Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on 13 November 13, 2020 (kick-off 19h00) while the away match will take place three days later (November 16, 2020) and kicks off at 17h00 SA time.
The players included skipper Ronwen Williams, midfielder Teboho Mokoena and marksman Bradley Grobler.
According to the South African Football Association (SAFA), players are required to report for camp and they are to assembly at OR Tambo International on Sunday, November 8 at 3pm and leave for Durban were the team will be camping at Maharani Hotel until the last day.
SAFA shall endeavour to return the player to their clubs after the second match which will be played at Sao Tome on November 16.
Meanwhile the selection of players is subject to the amendments of current regulations of COVID19 by government.
