Three SuperSport United players have been nominated in various Premier Soccer League (PSL) categories for the 2019-2020 season awards.

The three players are skipper Ronwen Williams (nominated in two categories), seasoned centre-back Clayton Daniels and forward Bradley Grobler. The latter are nominated in the MTN8 Last Man Standing category.

This is the title Matsatsantsa won last season after beating Highlands Park FC 1-0 (now TTM FC) in the final in Soweto.

Ironically, Matsatsantsa will take on new comers TTM when they start defending the MTN8 Cup title tomorrow afternoon in Venda.

Captain Williams is also nominated in the Absa Premiership Goalkeeper of the Season together with Daniel Akpeyi of Kaizer Chiefs FC and ex-Matsatsantsa keeper Denis Onyango of the current league champions Mamelodi Sundowns FC.
