SuperSport United FC and Cape Town City went head-to-head tonight at Athlone Stadium with a kickoff time of 20:00. In an intense first half, Cape Town City managed to score a goal against SSU in 34 minutes. As the first half came to a close, the score stood at 0-1 in favor of Cape Town City.

During the 2^nd half of the game, neither team was able to score,  leaving the score unchanged until the final whistle blew. Unfortunately, SSU was unable to secure a win and ultimately lost to Cape Town City.
