SuperSport United welcome AmaZulu FC in a crucial DStv Premiership match in Tshwane this coming weekend.
The match is scheduled for TUT Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Kick-off is at 17:30.
The match will be televised live on SuperSport television channel.
United are going into this match following their midweek goalless draw on the road against Marumo Gallants FC in their midweek meeting.
Matsatsantsa will be looking to settle the score against AmaZulu after losing 2-1 to them in the first-round last year in August.
Looking at Matsatsantsa’s current log standings (position two), they can’t afford to lose all the remaining matches or drop points as they want to participate in the CAF competition next season.
A win for Matsatsantsa will see them easing the pressure from both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates who are also eyeing top two finish.
SuperSport will rely heavily on players such as Gamphani Lungu, Thapelo Maseko, Grant Margeman and skipper Onismor Bhasera.
Interestingly, AmaZulu will be coming to Tshwane with three highly experienced ex-United players such as Guily Manziba, Thabo Qalinge, George Maluleka and Keagan Buchanan who is the SuperSport academy product. Maluleka and Qalinge worked very closely with head coach Gavin Hunt in his first spell at United and the former won two league titles in the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 seasons.
Meanwhile this will be Matsatsantsa’s second league match at their new alternative venue TUT Stadium.
